Accurate test method of air compressor efficiency;

In order to accurately obtain the air compressor efficiency of the data, in the test, it is necessary to synchronize the air compressor operation of the gas production (air intake), expressed by CFM or M3, and the air compressor electrical power, expressed by KW or HP. In the measurement of air compressor gas production, the proposal USES orifice meter, the measurement when installed on the compressed air outlet, the test data, the average error value is within 5% In addition to gas production (the volume) measurement, the power consumption measurement, can use power quality analyzer, and then calculate the air compressor running power. Here, it must be particularly emphasized that the power mass analyzer had better have the power factor measurement function, so that the correct operating power can be calculated. For the efficiency test of air compressor, the operation steps of measuring the efficiency of an air compressor with orifice flow measurement are as follows:

1. Detailed check and record all data, such as compressed air pressure level, cooling water inlet and outlet temperature, water pressure, etc.

2. Select the orifice group flowmeter size according to the size of the pipeline, and determine other auxiliary materials and matters.

3. Turn off the power supply of the air compressor when testing.

4. Close the exhaust valve of the compressed air line.

5. Open the lower exhaust valve of the storage cylinder to empty the gas in the cylinder and make the pressure drop to normal pressure.

6. Install orifice group flowmeter in the pipeline.

7. Wiring work before power quality analyzer test.

8. Install pressure gauge in orifice panel flowmeter and reset all valves.

9. Start the air compressor, manually set the exhaust pressure as the rated working pressure of the air compressor, keep the pressure stable for more than 5~8 minutes, in order to accurately measure the efficiency.

10. Adjust orifice group flowmeter valve to first class value.

11. Record the temperature, pressure, motor power, power factor and CFM value of orifice panel before outlet of compressed air (see the table below).

12. Repeat steps 10 to 11 several times, where common pressure values must be tested.

13. Stop the machine, turn off the power supply of the air compressor, and remove the precision power quality analyzer.

14. Reduce the pressure gauge of the air bucket to 0kg/cm2G, and then remove the orifice group flowmeter. 50 hp compressor low noise
