WHY? The analysis for high head outlet temperature or exhaust temperature of air compressor
High temperature rise is a common fault in the operation of screw air compressor. Screw air compressor often runs at high temperature, which will seriously affect the exhaust capacity and service life of the machine. When the temperature rise is too high, high temperature shutdown fault will occur.
The reasons are:
1. Temperature sensor failure. Failure of temperature sensor will cause PLC to misreport high temperature and cause shutdown.
2. Environmental temperature factors. The head outlet temperature of screw air compressor is generally set at about 110℃, and the head outlet temperature is equal to the ambient temperature plus 60℃. The ventilation environment under the pit is poor, and most of the high temperature is caused by this.
3. Failure of temperature control valve. When the compressor starts cold, the temperature control valve can make the oil bypass the cooler and spray directly into the main head, accelerate the rise of oil temperature and prevent the condensation in the compressor. After the normal operation of the compressor, the oil temperature can be controlled by adjusting the proportion of oil quantity flowing through the cooler and the sideway according to the oil temperature. If the temperature control valve is damaged or the action is not sensitive, a large amount of high temperature oil will circulate directly into the main engine head without passing through the cooler, resulting in high temperature of the main engine.
4. Oil filter failure. The oil filter is used to filter the dust and impurities in the oil circuit. After a period of use, it is easy to be blocked. After being blocked, the oil return is not smooth and the host temperature is high. (often occurs at the moment of loading).
5. Failure of oil cut-off valve. The oil break valve is through the storage tank pressure control of the reciprocating movement of oil injection, if a fault caused by the oil pipeline is not smooth, resulting in high oil temperature; Sundry blockage of oil or control gas path, resulting in oil valve closed without oil injection, will also cause the main engine head due to lack of oil or poor heat dissipation caused by high temperature.
6. Insufficient amount of lubricating oil, dirty and clogged oil cooler will cause high temperature.
7. The cooling fan fails, the air cooler is blocked, and the exhaust resistance is too large, resulting in the heat dissipation difference and high temperature. The external dust and internal grease of the cooler should be cleaned.
