Sometimes the separator is also used for separation, buffering and metering of multiphase such as oil and gas and sediment. There are three general forms from the shape, vertical, horizontal, and spherical. The container consists of 4 parts:
(1) Inlet separation devices that separate oil and gas from the bulk, such as oil sump, sieve plates, etc.
(2) An umbrella or mesh trap that captures oil droplets from the gas.
(3) A baffle separating the gas from the liquid.
(4) The float controller is used to control the liquid level controller of the oil discharge valve and the pressure control valve on the exhaust pipe to maintain the liquid seal state of the liquid outlet and the prescribed separator pressure.
